What Kind Of Content And How Much?

For a CPA site to be effective, it needs to have the content right. Getting good content is important, but at the same time you should be considering the amount of content you have on your site. People often ask “What is more important – quality or quantity?”. This is a question with no definitive right answer. If you fail to concentrate on the quality you are likely to have low click through numbers because people will surf off elsewhere. However, if you do not have enough quantity, those who click through may still be unconvinced.

By using blogging software you can make your site very defined with respect to where one article ends and another begins. This is hugely important, as people will stop reading if they feel there is too much to read. This is not because they are stupid, or because they are cynical, but simply because there is a lot of content out there and if you’re not getting to the point and wrapping up the article quickly enough, they will judge that someone else will do it quicker and set off to find them. Ten articles on the site, with maybe five of those on the front page, will usually be the right amount.

CPA networks know all of this and are keen to ensure that they accept sites which are set up on these principles. It is important to ensure that you as a marketer can demonstrate that you are on board with the principles on which it works.
