Nightclub Promoter

Making money takes time. Making money requires a long-term commitment. Making money is boring. Oh, having the money is great. Seeing it hit your bank account, spending it and enjoying the security it provides is great, but it is one long slog to get there and it’s just as well you have the money to compensate you for the lengths you went to to earn it. That’s how things go, isn’t it? Well, you’d think so if you listened to 90% of people talking about their job. The truth is, that’s the way of things for a lot of us. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

Imagine making your living as a nightclub promoter. Think about this for a moment – nightclub promoters, if they are good at what they do, can earn a ridiculous amount of money for going to a nightclub, having a good time, drinking cocktails and meeting people who will basically worship the ground they walk upon. If done right, it is the perfect job, bar none. Imagine being paid to have fun – where’s the downside?

Yes, you will have noticed the “if done right” proviso in the above paragraph. Nothing falls into your lap if you don’t go about it in the right way. Even the best jobs with the greatest pay packets are not going to just pay you for existing. Top sportsmen will not keep a huge contract if they stop performing. But it still beats working the hours away in a job where you are paid to take the heat for someone else’s mistakes, and end the day needing a drink and a dance just to unwind. Be a nightclub promoter and you can have the drinks and dancing as part of the job!
