JohnQ TV
On Demand TV is one of the big developments of the early part of the 21st Century. You've been there, surely? You've been looking forward to an episode of a show, or a huge game, since a few months ago and then the day comes and you have to work late, or the TV's on the fritz, or something else happens to prevent you from enjoying the program as fully as you otherwise might. And once it's done, it's done. By the time a repeat is shown, someone will have spoiled the conclusion for you. Not with On Demand TV, though - all you need to do is log on and watch it when the emergency is over.
Of course, On Demand TV presents its own problems. At the moment it is in the hands of the network TV channels who take a very stiff control over what they release to show on demand and what they keep back to ensure people watch the repeats (or due to agreements with partner channels). An independent On Demand service would be ideal - and now it is here in the form of JohnQ TV. Is there an old sitcom you're dying to watch, but it isn't out on DVD? JohnQ will have it. Has your favorite show been broadcast on a channel that doesn't have an On Demand service? It'll be on JohnQ.
Finally, TV that is as convenient as it should be. This service ensures that you don't need to miss an episode, or get spoiled hours before you were going to watch the repeats. This is what TV should be like - and now, it is.
